Case Study: Roundtable discussion on the future of robo-advice
mdevents were contracted by a leading online financial advice provider to arrange the first in a series of roundtable discussions, exploring the challenges and successes of robo-advice.
There exist more than 200 robo-advice platforms in the US, yet the UK market remains hesitant. The small roundtable breakfast, which took place on Tuesday 5th July in The Shard in central London, set out to explore why these reservations exist, and what more can be done to challenge them.
Robo-advice is innovating the way the world does business. It is becoming increasingly more pertinent for British organisations to take advantage of the financial benefits of advancements in technology, or risk getting left behind.
Technological innovations can open new markets, improve efficiency and offer a range of tangible business benefits, particularly when it comes to saving time and keeping costs low. Yet there are still a lot of questions left to be answered.
The discussion was managed closely by mdevents, from inception to delivery. They arranged the breakfast catering, designed and created the event invitation and RSVP platform, and helped to publicise the event - which was attended by senior leaders from some of the UK’s most influential companies.
The preliminary discussion has paved the way for further conversations, the next taking place in the same location in September. As a trusted partner of this client, mdevents will facilitate an evening seminar, this time aimed at 100 senior HR professionals from businesses around the UK.
