The successful management of large groups of people is at the heart of every event. To do this in a friendly and professional way requires exceptional individuals. At MD Events, we put people at the very heart of our business, with a full time staff of over 50 personnel worldwide. We believe that personality is just as important as communication and organisational skills and every member of the MD Events team adds that much needed human touch to all of our events.

Stephanie Allen

Stephanie AllenSenior Event Manager / Trainer

Stephanie brings to MD Events a wealth of experience. Prior to joining MD Events, she worked on Phase II/III clinical trials for both CRO and Pharmaceutical companies for a number of years.

Joining the company in January 2003, Stephanie has managed in excess of 40 meetings worldwide for MD Events. Stephanie is an integral member of our Internal Compliance team, which ensures the company is updated on the latest IFPMA and GCP guidelines.

Her current training role combines her meeting experience with her clinical knowledge to provide a global training program for all our operations staff.

Samantha Simpson

Samantha SimpsonClinical Event Manager

Samantha graduated with a 2.1 B.A. Honours degree in International Travel Management in 2005, including an industry placement in New York.

She joined MD Events in 2005 as an Event Coordinator; due to her professionalism and vast experience, she was promoted to Clinical Event Manager shortly after.

Based in our Bracknell office, Samantha has worked on over 35 meetings both in Europe and worldwide. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail are very much in demand.

Kate James

Kate JamesSenior Clinical Events Coordinator

Kate joined MD Events in 2007 as a Clinical Events Coordinator. During this time, she has worked with a wide range of clients and with our Operations departments in the UK and USA.

Kate spent 8 months as a team leader training and mentoring our UK-based Event Coordinators, and making a valuable contribution to many administrative projects.

She was promoted in 2009 to the role of Senior Clinical Events Coordinator, where she continues to be a valuable asset to our Europe & Rest of World Operations Team.

Meghan Zamborsky

Meghan ZamborskyClinical Event Manager

Meghan is no stranger to the meetings and events industry, having spent 10 years managing events around the world for a variety of blue chip clients, former Presidents & foreign dignitaries.

Meghan received her dual undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Marketing from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and her masters’ degree from Georgetown University.

Meghan's varied background in strategic event analysis, delegate management, budget supervision and event coordination provides the perfect foundation for developing successful investigators' meetings.

Tina Phelan

Tina PhelanSenior Clinical Event Coordinator

Tina Phelan received her degree in Hospitality Management from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining MD Events, she coordinated group events at one of Philadelphia’s largest athletic and high-profile events arena.

Tina joined MD Events in 2007 as a coordinator overseeing registration and travel. She has recently been promoted to Senior Clinical Event Coordinator, with larger oversight in managing clinical meetings worldwide.

Tina's dedicated nature and passion for perfection is reflected in her relationships with clients, who value her as a true partner in the success of their meetings.

Cara Tarricone

Cara TarriconeClinical Event Coordinator

Graduating with a degree in Communications from Philadelphia’s LaSalle University Cara worked for several years planning social and corporate events throughout Philadelphia and New York. She has developed keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, characteristics that are vital within the industry and are keys to the success of any event.

Cara joined MD Events in December 2007, and has worked in both the Business Development and Operations divisions of the company.  During her tenure, she has been able to integrate her dedication to customer service with her drive to create successful meetings.
